The traditional Weekend Wedding Service includes the full professional services of Reverend Peadar Dalton and his administrative assistant. Included in the package are personal meetings with Rev. Dalton, his ceremony preparation time, travel time, and flexibility to unpredicted changes that often occur in designing a wedding ceremony. Below is a sampling of what we offer to you once you secure the services of Rev. Dalton and Your Ceremony Matters.
First Meeting ~ Getting to Know Each Other
- By telephone, Skype/video conference calls, or at our Sonoma office; allow one hour for meeting
- Share information about yourselves, family, guests, and spiritual or favorite traditions by completing in advance our “About Yourselves” form
- Discuss desires for your ceremony and wedding day; generate ideas
Developing the Ceremony
- Begin outline of ceremony with template provided by our office
- By telephone and email, discuss specifics of the ceremony (involvement of family, children, timing, music, readings, vows, religious and family traditions, logistics) are confirmed

Wedding Day Commitment
- Includes travel up to one hour driving time to wedding site. Note: depending on location we reserve the right to augment our fee with a small amount to offset gasoline expense, tolls and parking. Normally a minister does not facilitate a rehearsal; a wedding coordinator, or site manager conducts rehearsals
- Reverend Dalton arrives at least one hour before start of ceremony. He will meet with vendors (musicians, photographer, and facility coordinator), family members and bridal party
- Will offer a moment of reflection for bridal party to calm any nervousness before the ceremony
- Availability to guests directly following ceremony; family and friends have told us they appreciate being able to share their feelings with Rev. Dalton about your ceremony
- Will obtain witness signatures; file and mail original marriage license to county; send you a copy
